Feature Highlight
Why, How and What
User Research Findings & Data Insights:
There is a significant demand for personalized rewards, with customized emojis and stickers identified as a top priority for both viewers and streamers. Listeners specifically favor unique, creator-original prizes over generic platform-provided digital assets, suggesting that authentic, tailor-made incentives are the primary driver of engagement in mini events.
During this phase, I identified an opportunity to scale streamer adoption; through targeted feature optimizations, we increased engagement in mini-events by 10%, reaching a 40% adoption rate.
Key Features & User Flow:
1. Upload: Contracted streamers can upload up to 10 emojis in the Content Creation Hub.
2. Review: The uploaded emojis must go through an internal review process. We also redesigned this standardized review web for our content moderation team.
3. Reward Assignment: In custom events, contracted streamers can assign approved emojis as a virtual reward when the overall BC (Baby Coin) goal is set above 10,000.
4. Gifts to Receive: The number of gifts a streamer can set for users to receive in a custom event has been increased from 4 to 8.
5. Usage: Viewers who contribute to the event and help reach the goal will be granted access to use the emojis in that specific streamer's stream room.
Key Achievements:
1. Safety & Scalability: Designed and implemented a standardized project review system to preemptively mitigate policy-violating user-generated content (UGC). This framework was adopted by both the Japan and Taiwan regional teams, streamlining internal processes for global scalability and social responsibility.
2. Product Innovation: Pioneered the platform's first UGC Emoji System, allowing streamers to create and distribute custom assets to viewers. This initiative served as the foundational architecture for subsequent AI-driven emoji projects.
3. Measurable Impact: Achieved a 40% streamer adoption rate and a 92% goal completion rate. These features delivered a 2.3% uplift in total spend and contributed to a 40% growth in [Metric, e.g., user engagement/revenue].
